How to Measure
Girth/ Length – Start at one shoulder (center shoulder), place the measuring tape down the front of the body, between the legs, up the back to the opposite shoulder point making a v shape. This number is called your girth or Length measurement.
Bust/ Chest – place the measuring tape evenly around your bust at the widest part ensuring that the measuring tape stays even and does not drop at the back.
Waist – place the measuring tape evenly around your waist.
Hips – Place the measuring tape at the widest part of your hips and ensure the measuring tape stays parallel to the floor and does not slip up the back.
Thigh measurements are needed for garments with skirts or any dresses or pants/ shorts. To measure- Locate the largest portion of your thigh, which will usually be a couple of inches under your inseam, wrap a tape measure around your leg so that it is snug with no gap between the tape measure and your leg, and then measure the other leg.
